As we embark on a journey to modernize our digital presence, we are seeking a highly creative UI/UX Designer to redesign our websites. We have a strong development team in place, but we need a designer to lead the visual and user experience overhaul, ensuring our websites are not only aesthetically appealing but also functional and engaging for all users.  

 

Key Responsibilities:  

Collaborate closely with developers to design and enhance the university’s websites.

Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to improve the website's user experience, making it more accessible to students, parents, and stakeholders.

Create intuitive, responsive designs that work seamlessly across devices, ensuring usability and navigation are optimized.

Conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate designs based on user insights and behavioral data.

Ensure design consistency with the university’s branding and incorporate innovative UI/UX trends.

Provide expertise in layout design, color schemes, typography, iconography, and interactive elements to create a cohesive visual experience.

Work with marketing and communication teams to ensure that the website designs align with our institution's goals and promote key programs effectively.

Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design best practices and web technologies to ensure a modern, high-quality user experience.

 

Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.

Proven experience as a UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful website projects.

Expertise in UI/UX design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.

Knowledge of web development principles, including HTML/CSS, and the ability to work closely with developers.

Strong design sense with attention to detail, usability, and user-centered design principles.

Experience in conducting user research and translating findings into actionable design improvements.

Ability to design for multiple platforms, ensuring a consistent experience across devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
