Job Summary
We are seeking dynamic and student-centric Telecallers / Tele Counsellors to join our Admissions Contact Center team. The role involves engaging with prospective students and parents over the phone, providing accurate information about courses and admission processes, guiding them through application steps, and ensuring timely follow-ups to maximize conversions.
As the first point of contact, Tele Counsellors play a vital role in building trust, creating positive impressions, and driving admissions targets.
Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound calls related to student admissions, counseling, and queries.

Provide detailed information about programs, eligibility criteria, admission process, fee structure, scholarships, and campus facilities.

Maintain a professional, empathetic, and student-friendly approach during all interactions.

Manage leads generated through marketing campaigns, events, walk-ins, and digital platforms.

Follow up regularly with prospective students and parents to ensure timely conversion.

Record and update all interactions, follow-ups, and outcomes in the CRM system (e.g., ExtraaEdge).

Coordinate with the admissions team to schedule campus visits, counseling sessions, and interviews.

Escalate complex queries to the Team Leader or Admissions Manager for resolution.

Contribute to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.

Ensure adherence to university policies, communication standards, and call quality guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience

Graduate degree in any discipline (Master’s preferred but not mandatory).

1–3 years of experience in telecalling, counseling, or customer service (preferably in education/admissions).

Freshers with excellent communication skills and a passion for counseling may also apply.
Skills & Attributes

Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (both verbal and written).

Strong persuasion, counseling, and interpersonal skills.

Confidence in handling outbound and inbound calls.

Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.

Basic computer proficiency with knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.

Goal-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
