Uttaranchal University, Dehradun (NAAC A+ Grade) invites applications from eligible and motivated candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in the School of Agriculture.

The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, academic mentoring, and contributing to the overall academic development of the department.

Essential Qualification

• B.Sc. (Agriculture) and M.Sc. (Agriculture)

• NET qualified in Horticulture / Soil Science / Genetics & Plant Breeding

• Degree from a recognized university

Desirable Qualification

• Ph.D. in the concerned discipline

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching and/or research experience
  (Fresh Ph.D. holders may also be considered as per university norms)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate level lectures

• Engage in research and academic development activities

• Guide students in academic and research work

• Participate in curriculum development, examinations, and university initiatives
